The Algerian province of Khenchela witnessed the launch of the first shipment of red onions to Libya for the year 2025, with a quantity of 500 tons. This operation was carried out in close coordination between the Khenchela province, and the relevant commercial authorities concerned with promoting exports, according to the Algerian “Echorouk” news agency.
Khenchela is known for its abundant agricultural production, as it exports large quantities of various agricultural products annually, such as apples, olives, beans, and onions. The Libyan market is considered one of the most prominent destinations targeted by Algeria to increase the volume of its exports during the next year.
