Attorney General Calls for Halting Negotiations on Developing Oil Block NC7

Attorney General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour has called on the Audit Bureau to halt ongoing negotiations regarding the development contract for Oil Block NC7. This request comes in response to a request from the bureau’s observer to assess the procedures taken by the National Oil Corporation.
The Attorney General emphasized the need to review the observations recorded by the Audit Bureau about the project, in addition to conducting a comprehensive evaluation of its legal and financial aspects. This step aims to enhance transparency and ensure the protection of national interests.
