Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Ground Forces, conducted an inspection tour of camps under the General Staff Headquarters, accompanied by a high-level U.S. military delegation. The delegation included Lieutenant General John Brennan, Deputy Commander of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), and Jeremy Brent, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Libya.
During the tour, Haftar showcased the military and logistical capabilities of the Libyan Ground Forces. Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in security and strategic domains. Saddam stressed “the importance of partnership between the two nations to achieve stability and advance shared interests,”
