Mr. Taher Al-Baour, acting head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation within GNU, took part in the preparatory meeting of foreign ministers of the Arab League members. The session was held in anticipation of the emergency Arab summit scheduled to convene on Tuesday in Cairo.
During the meeting, participants reaffirmed the collective Arab stance in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. They categorically rejected any attempts to forcibly displace the population of Gaza Strip or manipulate the demographic composition of Palestinian territories, emphasizing that such actions constitute explicit violations of international law.
Concluding the discussions, the attendees finalized the official statement to be presented to Arab leaders at the upcoming summit. The statement reiterated the Arab world’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and underscored the commitment of Arab nations to stand firmly alongside them until their legitimate aspirations for freedom, justice, and an end to occupation are fully realized.
