Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced today, Tuesday, a notable increase in crude oil production over the past 24 hours, reaching 1.394 million barrels, an increase of 18,000 barrels compared to production rates recorded last week.
According to NOC data, condensate production reached 51,194 barrels, while natural gas production reached 2.521 billion cubic feet.
This production increase follows a call by the acting Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Masoud Suleiman, for foreign companies to invest in the Libyan oil sector and participate in the open bidding announced on Monday.
Suleiman launched this call during a ceremony held at the Rixos Hall in Tripoli, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and the acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq.
