Emphasizing Libya’s unique combination of geographical advantages, a pleasant climate, and diverse tourist attractions, including archaeological sites. The Libyan government has launched an initiative called “Life Returns” to revitalize the tourism sector by promoting these assets and turning Libya into a tourism hub.
Al-Fazzani emphasized the need to resume direct flights between Tripoli and European cities and to simplify visa procedures for Libyan citizens. The Spanish ambassador expressed his willingness to facilitate the visa process for Libyans wanting to travel to the European Union and praised Libya’s potential as a tourist destination. He hopes these efforts will help revive Libya’s tourism industry and make it a popular destination for travellers worldwide.
