The Municipality and University of Granada, Spain, honored Libyan artist Matouq Aburawi during the opening of the city’s cultural season.
The tribute coincided with the opening of his exhibition, “I Narrate,” at the Gran Capitan Cultural Center. The exhibition represents Aburawi’s artistic career which has spanned over two decades, featuring a collection of his works that reflect the evolution of his style and creative vision, characterized by depth and contemporary aesthetics.
Aburawi is a professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli, and a member of a research committee at the University of Granada. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in various countries around the world.
This exhibition is part of efforts to enhance cultural and artistic exchange between Libya and Spain and stands as a testament to the strong academic and cultural ties between the University of Tripoli and Granada.
