Al-Suwaihli exits Arab Volleyball Championship after loss to Qatari Police

The Libyan Al-Suwaihli team’s journey in the 43rd Arab Volleyball Championship ended at the quarter-final stage, after losing to the Qatari Police team with a score of 3-1, in an exciting match held in Qatar on Wednesday.
The Qatari team made a strong start by winning the first set 28-26, Al-Suwaihli team managed to turn the table and win the next set with scores of 25-19, only to lose the two other sets 25-17, and 25-19, thus eliminated from the competition for the title.
On the other hand, the Libyan Al-Hilal team achieved victory over the Palestinian Gaza team with three clean sets (25-18, 25-22, 25-17) in the competitions to determine the 13th to 15th places.
Today, Thursday, three strong matches will be held, where Al-Hilal Libya will meet Erbil of Iraq, Baniyas of the UAE will play against Burgan of Kuwait, and Dar Kulaib of Bahrain will conclude today’s matches by facing Kuwait
