Libyan karate champion Nouri Wael Al-Saadawi has secured a remarkable sporting achievement, earning the bronze medal and third place in the under-21 World Youth Karate League Championships in the +84 kg weight category. The victory came amid fierce competition from some of the world’s top young players, showcasing Al-Saadawi’s skill and determination.
This accomplishment follows weeks of intensive preparation by the Libyan karate team. The Libyan Karate Federation organized a 15-day training camp in Cairo, held in collaboration with several Egyptian clubs, aimed at enhancing athletes’ technical and physical readiness ahead of the tournament. The camp played a pivotal role in fine-tuning the players’ skills and ensuring their peak performance during the championship.
