Tunisia recently concluded the 10th annual of the African Olympic Academies, which included the general session for electing the Assembly. Representatives from 23 national Olympic academies across the continent attended. The event underscored efforts to strengthen sports collaboration and advance the development of African Olympic education and training programs.
Libya’s delegation was led by Dr. Hadhem Al-Abed, Director General of the Libyan Olympic Academy. The assembly provides a platform for dialogue on fostering continental partnerships, sharing expertise, and outlining strategic initiatives to empower Olympic academies as hubs for athletic excellence and ethical sports practices.
