The Old City Ramadan tournament 2025 kicked off in Derna, under the slogan “Return of Hope,” with the participation of 16 teams divided into four groups.
The tournament is sponsored by Derna Reconstruction Fund for Affected Cities and Regions.
The tournament witnessed a strong and exciting start with an opening match between the Libyan and the Jordanian national teams, which ended with a 2-0 victory for the Libyan team, in a match that carried a purely Ramadan character amidst strong public support.
