The Board of Directors of the General National Maritime Transport Company announced today, Thursday, a strategic decision to establish a new branch of the company in Benghazi to expand the scope of its operations and strengthen its presence in Libyan ports.
The company clarified in an official statement that this decision comes within its strategy to better meet the needs of its customers, facilitate maritime transport operations, and create new job opportunities in the city.
GNMTC owns a modern and diverse fleet of 18 maritime tankers, including 11 crude oil tankers, 6 oil product tankers, and two LR2 class tankers, designed to transport cargo over long distances, enhancing its competitiveness in global markets.
