The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced the distribution of essential relief aid to over 1,700 refugees in the municipalities of Sabha, Brak al-Shati, and Ubari in southern Libya as part of its ongoing efforts to support the region’s most vulnerable groups.
This aid was provided in collaboration with the Libyan Relief Agency. It included essential relief items aimed at improving the living conditions of refugees, such as blankets, cooking utensils, and solar lamps, in addition to hygiene supplies, special needs for infants, water containers, and plastic sheeting.
Approximately 500 people from the local communities hosting refugees in these areas also received similar assistance.
