The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced the interception and return of 349 migrants off the Libyan coast in the past week, spanning from February 23rd to the beginning of March.
In a statement, the IOM clarified that among the migrants were 21 women and six children.
This brings the total number of migrants intercepted and returned to Libya this year to 4,204, while the number of migrant deaths in the Mediterranean Sea has reached 80.
