The Algerian state of Setif, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, has launched an ambitious program to encourage exports to Libya, Tunisia, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, with the participation of leading industrial institutions such as Sinova, Faderco, and Baticeram.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, a convoy of ceramic exports, consisting of seven trucks carrying 275 small containers, totaling 19,000 square meters, has set off for the Libyan market.
In a related context, Sinova, a company specializing in the manufacture of household appliances, has begun exporting its shipments to Tunisia, with a convoy including 570 washing machines and 342 refrigerators made in Algeria.
Another batch of Algerian exports has also been launched to the United Kingdom and Belgium, consisting of 30 containers loaded with personal care products, which will be shipped by sea.
This program comes within the framework of Algeria’s efforts to boost its exports, diversify its destinations, and expand the presence of its products in regional and international markets.
