Hanna Tetteh, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Libya, held an important meeting with the heads of missions of the European Union member states, in the presence of her Deputy Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator, Anis Chouma, to discuss the latest political developments in Libya.
During the meeting, Tetteh provided a comprehensive overview of the outcomes of her intensive meetings with Libyan and international parties since assuming her duties on February 20th, outlining the various paths of the political process in the country.
The UN envoy praised the continuous support provided by the European Union to the UN’s efforts in Libya, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in strengthening stability and driving the political process towards a sustainable and inclusive solution.
