Libya has announced that it will host the 2025 African Elite Boxing Championship for men and women, held in the capital, Tripoli, from May 13 to 25. This major sporting event is a testament to the African Boxing Confederation’s (AFBC) confidence in Libya’s ability to organize continental events. It reflects the country’s commitment to strengthening its position in the African sports scene.
The championship will witness the participation of elite boxers from various African countries, with intense competitions taking place over 12 days. In addition, the events will include the organization of international training courses for referees, coaches, technical officials, and ring doctors, enhancing the efficiency of Libyan cadres and providing them with global expertise.
