Patrols from the Central Region Law Enforcement Department, under the General Directorate of Security Operations, conducted a large-scale security campaign targeting foreign workers’ residences in Al-Kharouba area of Misrata, in coordination with the Environmental Sanitation Team.
The campaign resulted in the detection of a range of health, environmental, and legal violations, alongside the apprehension of a number of illegal immigrants who lacked any documents or health certificates.
The necessary legal measures were taken against the violators, with the illegal immigrants being referred to the Illegal Immigration Control Agency to enforce security, apply the law, and enhance public safety in the city.
