In conjunction with International Women’s Day, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has unveiled a dedicated Facebook platform for Libyan women. Managed by a team from UNSMIL, the initiative aims to amplify the role of women across various sectors, advocate for their rights, and enhance their participation in the political process and its diverse pathways.
The platform is designed to serve as a dynamic space for exchanging ideas, addressing challenges, and exploring potential solutions, all while upholding Libyan values, culture, and principles, as well as local and international laws related to women’s rights.
