Taher Al-Baour, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Jang Ji-hak, the South Korean Ambassador to Libya, at the Ministry’s headquarters, two sides addressed the essential preparations for the South Korean Embassy’s return to Tripoli and the permanent presence of its staff.
This meeting comes in light of the South Korean Embassy’s resumption of consular services to Libyan citizens since last year, which has enhanced economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two parties reviewed the strong relations between Libya and South Korea and discussed ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, serving the mutual interests of both countries. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
