The General Staff of the Libyan Naval Forces announced the dispatch of the ship “Ibn Al-Haritha” to Italy for maintenance work at an Italian ship maintenance shipyard, within the framework of cooperation between the Libyan and the Italian Navy.
The ship departed the dock of Tripoli Naval Base on Wednesday, heading towards Augusta Naval Base in Italy, where it arrived on Friday, March 14, 2025, and docked at the pier at 9:00 AM.
The stern docking operation was successfully executed, reflecting the high efficiency and distinguished skill of the Libyan Naval Forces personnel in carrying out naval maneuvers with precision and professionalism. The Italian officers who received the ship at Augusta Naval Base praised this achievement.
