The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, received Engineer Masoud Suleiman, the acting Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, at his office in Al-Qubba, where the two parties discussed a number of files related to the Corporation’s operational mechanisms and the challenges facing the oil sector in Libya.
The discussions focused on ways to overcome the obstacles hindering the Corporation’s development projects and initiatives aimed at increasing production, in addition to reviewing the general situation of the oil sector and the progress of production operations.
Counselor Aguila Saleh praised the vital role played by the National Oil Corporation in managing the sector, emphasizing the need to support and develop it to ensure the optimal exploitation of oil resources.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives also stressed the importance of removing all obstacles facing the Corporation to ensure the continuity of its operations and achieve the desired goals of increasing production and developing the sector’s infrastructure.
