The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced the seizure of a quantity of goods prepared for smuggling at Ras Ajdir border crossing, as part of efforts to combat smuggling and secure borders.
The ministry, through its media office, confirmed that the Law Enforcement Department is continuing to intensify security patrols at the crossing, with the aim of apprehending violations, countering smuggling activities, and ensuring the safety of passenger movement through the crossing.
The seized goods were handed over to Ras Ajdir police station to take the necessary legal measures.
