The Government of National Unity has announced the start of preparatory works for the Marbat-Misrata Stadium, a facility designed to meet FIFA 2025 standards. The stadium will accommodate 23,000 spectators and span 17 hectares, marking a significant leap in Libya’s sports infrastructure development and scheduled for completion by April 2026.
The Preparation period includes site preparation, final design reviews, and regulatory approvals.

Main Contractor: Libyan Investment and Development Company with technical support by TRIARENA Spanish Company
The stadium is a cornerstone project aimed at revitalizing Libya’s sports sector by providing world-class venues capable of hosting regional and international events, positioning Libya as a hub for major sporting activities.
