Tripoli witnessed the competitions of the third round of the final coronation stage of the Libya Volleyball Championship, with matches held in the great halls of Tripoli and Rajab Okasha, amidst a competitive atmosphere among the qualified teams.
In one of the encounters, Ahli Benghazi team achieved an important victory over Ittihad Misurata by three sets to one. Despite losing the first set with a score of (22-25), Ahli Benghazi strongly regained its balance and clinched the following three sets with scores of (22-25), (19-25), and (15-25), thus strengthening its position in the standings.
In another match, Hilal team outperformed Asarya by three sets to one. Hilal secured the first and second sets with a score of (19-25) each, but Asarya came back and snatched the third set with a score of (23-25), before Hilal concluded the match by winning the fourth set with a score of (22-25).
On another front, Nasr team continued its brilliance in the Rajab Okasha hall and defeated Afriqi Zliten by three straight sets, with scores of (21-25), (19-25), and (20-25), thereby affirming its ambition to compete for the championship title. As for the Great Tripoli hall, it was the stage for a thrilling summit clash between Sweihli and Ahli Tripoli, which ended with Sweihli winning by three sets to one. Sweihli imposed its dominance in the first set, achieving a significant victory with a score of (10-25), but Ahli Tripoli came back in the second set and managed to win with a score of (23-25). However, Sweihli was able to decide the match in its favor after winning the third and fourth sets with scores of (19-25) and (17-25).
