The seventh-round second-leg competitions of the Libyan Premier League concluded this evening with four matches held within Group B, most notably the encounter between Hilal and Sadaqa, and the match between Ahli Benghazi and Andalus.
In Shahat, on its home ground, Hilal team drew with its guest Sadaqa with a score of one goal apiece, in a match characterized by a high level of competition between the two sides. With this draw, Hilal finished the group stage at the top of Group B standings with 34 points, while Sadaqa secured its qualification to the Top Six stage after raising its tally to 23 points.
In a related context, Ahli Benghazi team managed to achieve a valuable victory over Andalus team with a clean goal, in the match that was held at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium. With this victory, Ahli Benghazi’s tally rose to 34 points, placing it second in the league table, while Andalus team’s tally remained at 19 points in fifth place, which weakens its chances of competing for the qualifying spots for the Top Six stage. In other matches of the same round, Burans achieved a 3-1 victory over Murooj in the match held at Sirte Stadium, while Mahdia team’s relegation to the First Division League was confirmed after its goalless draw with its host Taawon team.
