The football tournament organised by the Sudanese community residing in Zliten concluded last Friday evening. The league had broad participation from several teams representing the community’s members in the city, amidst a distinctive sporting atmosphere and a remarkable public attendance.
The final match, held at Al-Shura Stadium, featured a strong and exciting encounter between “Al-Madfa’ajia” and “Nabli Alo Bayd”. The game concluded with Al-Madfa’ajia securing a 3-1 victory, thus deservedly clinching the championship title after a consistent and outstanding performance throughout the competitions.
Following the match, a celebratory closing ceremony was held, during which the tournament’s best player was honoured, alongside tributes to the officiating team and the organising committee, in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the success of this important sporting event, which reflected the spirit of cooperation and solidarity within the Sudanese community.
