The Misrata Free Zone Port experienced a surge in commercial activity on Wednesday, with several vessels arriving to load and unload a diverse range of cargo.
Among them was the freighter Yara, which began loading 300 tonnes of scrap metal in preparation for export. Meanwhile, berth No. 7 received the vessel Robusto, carrying 155,000 tonnes of iron pellets imported from Brazil.
Port data also showed that handling teams began unloading Barbella, a container ship delivering 350 containers filled with assorted goods destined for both public and private sectors
