Libyan Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received Egypt’s General Intelligence Director, Major General Hassan Rashad, along with his accompanying delegation, at the General Command headquarters in Benghazi.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Libya and Egypt in the fields of security and intelligence, and explored coordination mechanisms on issues of mutual concern, in support of regional stability and the shared strategic interests of both nations.
During the visit, Major General Rashad extended congratulations to Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, and Lieutenant General Khaled Haftar, Chief of General Staff, on their recent promotions and assumption of new responsibilities.
