Brazilian Exports to Libya Rise 4.7% in Seven Months

According to Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services, Brazilian exports to Libya grew by 4.7% from January to July of this year compared to the same period last year.

The Arab-Brazilian News Agency reported that the value of these exports reached $421.9 million, while Libyan imports to Brazil were valued at just $793,000 during the same period.

Iron ore topped the list of exports at $146.8 million, a 10% decrease from the same period in 2024. Poultry meat followed at $103.7 million, a 5.5% decrease. However, beef exports saw a significant increase of 74.9%, reaching $76 million, and sugar exports rose by 15.1% to $68.8 million.

The agency also noted that Brazil’s total exports to Libya this year have already exceeded the average annual performance recorded between 2014 and 2022.
