Libya’s Al-Swehli Volleyball Club has confirmed its participation in the upcoming FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship, scheduled to take place in Brazil from December 16 to 21, following an official invitation from the International Volleyball Federation recognizing the team as Africa’s representative.
The tournament will feature eight elite clubs from across the globe, including Al-Swehli as African champions. Other participants include European champions Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia and runners-up Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie of Poland; South American champions Sada Cruzeiro and Brazilian runners-up Praia; Asian champions Al-Rayyan of Qatar and runners-up Osaka Blazers Sakai of Japan; and host club Vôlei Renata Campinas.
