Al-Taher Al-Baour, the official tasked with overseeing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today (Tuesday) received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Libya, Aydar Aganin, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Egyptian Embassy, Tamer Hanafy, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, the two diplomats delivered a formal invitation from the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, and the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty. The invitation requests Al-Baour’s attendance at the Second Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Conference, scheduled to be held in Cairo on November 18 and 19. The conference is set to take place within the context of expanding and strengthening areas of cooperation between Russia and African nations, alongside exploring available avenues for deepening partnerships with various influential regional and international parties.
