Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the Commander General of the Armed Forces, inaugurated a series of new developmental and service projects in the city of Ajdabiya, which included new bridges and road networks, amid an official celebration.
In his inauguration address, the Commander General expressed his deep pride in Ajdabiya, calling it the “city of heroic and brave Mujahideen.” He insisted that the ongoing urban development, evident in new hospitals, schools, bridges, and infrastructure, was a source of joy for the honourable and a defeat for the envious.
Marshal Haftar asserted that these current achievements represent only a starting point for more ambitious projects planned across all regions of the country. He reassured the Libyan people that the “Caravan of Reconstruction,” which he says is led by the “Karama Revolution” (Dignity Revolution), is proceeding non-stop, moving from one city to the next to achieve prosperity.
The Commander General extended a special salute to the people of Ajdabiya, its elders and youth, and also praised the “homeland’s martyrs” who sacrificed themselves for the victory of dignity over terrorism. He remarked that the greatest measure to defeat enemies is the embodiment of major achievements on the ground.
Marshal Haftar concluded his speech by reaffirming that the Karama Revolution will continue with an indomitable will towards progress, civilisation, and a dignified life. He vowed that efforts would remain focused until Libya in its entirety transforms into a model of stability and reconstruction, allowing the people to live as masters of their land, deciding their destiny with dignity, proud of their past and present, and looking forward to a bright future open to all global nations.
