The Minister of Economy and Trade for the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Huaij, held a meeting to review the first report issued by the Ministry’s Office of International Cooperation concerning trade between Libya and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council.
The meeting was attended by the Ministry’s Undersecretaries, Suhail Abu Shiha and Shathar Al-Sayed, the latter of whom also holds the position of Director of the Office of International Cooperation. Minister Al-Huaij and directors of departments, alongside the undersecretaries, discussed the volume of commercial cooperation with China, the United States, Russia, France, and the United Kingdom.
The review covered the key statistics related to this cooperation within the report. The Ministry’s media office quoted Undersecretary Shathar Al-Sayed as confirming that the Office of International Cooperation is currently working on preparing and issuing its second report, which will focus on commercial cooperation with geographical ring countries.
