The House of Representatives Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Committee stressed its commitment to continuously monitoring and documenting all violations occurring in the Gaza Strip, aiming to support any future international investigation or accountability efforts. In its statement, the Committee affirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle and sustained steadfastness.
The Committee began its statement by expressing deep concern over the halted humanitarian aid convoys destined for the Gaza Strip, deeming this prevention a “new crime” added to the series of continuous Zionist violations against civilians.
The Committee held the Government of the Occupation fully responsible for the catastrophic deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip. Consequently, the Committee called upon the international community and the Security Council to intervene urgently to impose the immediate opening of humanitarian corridors.
The Committee also urged Arab and Islamic nations to take necessary practical and tangible measures designed to provide essential protection for the Palestinian people in the face of these ongoing violations
