Zliten Hosts Ceremony Honouring Taekwondo Athletes Awarded Coloured Belts

In an initiative to support talent and encourage athletes, the Taekwondo Sub-Federation for the Central Region organised an honouring ceremony yesterday, Sunday, at the “Super Gym” hall in the city of Zliten.
The event was dedicated to recognising athletes from various clubs and training centres who successfully attained coloured belts in Taekwondo. This tribute was paid in appreciation of the players’ efforts and the clear commitment and development they demonstrated in their athletic careers.
The ceremony was attended by coaches, administrators, parents, and representatives of the participating clubs. Certificates and honorary medals were distributed to the celebrated athletes during the event.
In their speeches, officials from the sub-federation underscored the importance of nurturing emerging talents and strengthening cooperation between clubs and training halls. They stressed that this collaboration is the optimal way to advance the sport of Taekwondo in the Central Region generally, and specifically in Zliten, while encouraging players to continue achieving success in future championships.
