First Lieutenant General Staff Saddam Haftar, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, attended the Graduation Ceremony of Military Colleges in the Arab Republic of Egypt. His participation came in response to a formal invitation extended by his counterpart, First Lieutenant General Abdel-Mageed Sakr, the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production.
This attendance underscores the depth of the military relationship connecting Libya and Egypt and highlights both nations’ commitment to bolstering cooperation and training exchanges across various security and military domains.
The ceremony saw the graduation of a new cohort of Libyan Armed Forces officers, alongside colleagues from several other countries, all of whom completed their studies at the Egyptian military academies. Also present at the ceremony was Lieutenant General Ahmed Fathy Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, accompanied by several senior military leaders from both countries.
