The transfer of international player Osama Al-Shuraimi to the Tunisian side Club Africain was marked by a protracted legal dispute. His former Libyan club, Al-Sweihly, formally contested the move after Al-Shuraimi signed with the Tunisian team just before the championship playoff hexagonal held in Milan, Italy, asserting their rights over his existing contract.
However, Club Africain has now announced, via an official statement on its Facebook page, that it has received the final official consent from the International Federation of Association Football (Fifa). This ruling confirms the Tunisian club’s right to register Al-Shuraimi, effectively bringing the controversy to a close.
Consequently, Club Africain confirmed that the national team star has been officially included in the squad list and is cleared to participate in upcoming competitions, starting with their next match.
