The national para powerlifting team is set to commence its participation in the World Championships, hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the competition running until 18 October. The team will begin its involvement in these global events tomorrow, Thursday.
This year’s championships are considered one of the largest in the history of the competition, featuring extensive participation from over 570 athletes representing 86 nations over the ten-day duration.
The national squad will compete across both gender categories, represented by eight male athletes and five female athletes, contesting the various weight classes approved for the World Championships.
