The Libyan national powerlifting team has arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, ahead of its participation in the World Masters Powerlifting Championships, with competitions set to commence next Friday. The national squad is set to compete against an elite field of athletes drawn from various nations globally, aiming to represent Libya honorably and secure positive results to add to the country’s international achievements. This major international tournament, covering various weight and age categories within the “Masters” classification, is scheduled to run for several days with extensive participation. Before their departure, the team concluded an intensive training camp, where players, supervised by the accompanying technical and administrative staff, focused heavily on elevating their physical and technical readiness levels.
