The Libyan national pétanque team delegation set off this morning, heading towards the Turkish city of Istanbul. They are preparing to compete in the World Championship for the sport, scheduled to commence next Tuesday. The team will participate in the Long Distance specialty across the Under-18 and Under-23 age categories.
Player Line-up and Technical Staff
The younger category (Under-18) is represented by players Azzam Al-Saghir and Moaz Abdelgader. The Under-23 team comprises Mohamed Attia and Mohamed Br’ais.
The coaching responsibility rests with national coach Adnan Issa, who is assisted by Ibrahim Ali. Fathi Al-Majzoub is overseeing the delegation’s administrative duties.
