Al-Ahly Tripoli commenced its first training session in Morocco today, Thursday, in preparation for the decisive second-leg encounter against Moroccan side Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RS Berkane). The match is scheduled for this coming Saturday as part of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Al-Ahly Tripoli delegation arrived in Morocco, having concluded its final preparatory programme in the capital, Tripoli. The daily training sessions were overseen by the technical staff, led by Egyptian coach Hossam El Badry, who focused on the technical, physical, and psychological aspects to ensure the players achieved peak readiness before the crucial clash.
The team is set to hold its second and final training session at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, the venue for the anticipated match.
To secure qualification for the group stage, Al-Ahly Tripoli must win, following the 1-1 draw in the first-leg match in Tripoli. Conversely, a goalless draw (0-0) would be sufficient for the Moroccan team to claim the spot and advance.
