Mohamed Al-Menfi, Chairman of the Presidential Council, held talks with Massad Boulos, Advisor to the US President for African and Middle Eastern Affairs, in Paris.
The discussions focused on assessing Libya’s current political track and exploring potential ways to move beyond it towards a new phase characterised by comprehensive national consensus, within the framework of supporting the Libyan-Libyan dialogue process.
The two officials also addressed several files of mutual interest to both nations, alongside discussing the country’s most recent political and economic developments. They sought to determine how best to support efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive stability.
Finally, the meeting touched upon the importance of strengthening cooperation between Libya and the United States in a manner that serves the interests of the Libyan people and contributes to the overall stability of the region.
