On the sidelines of the National Oil Corporation’s (NOC) participation in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), the Chairman of the NOC Board of Directors, Masoud Suleiman, held a meeting with officials from the global company Schlumberger. The objective of the meeting was to explore opportunities for deepening cooperation and expanding operational areas within Libya’s oil and gas services sector.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page this Tuesday, the NOC indicated that the discussions focused on prospects for developing the existing collaboration to enhance the overall capabilities of the Libyan oil sector. The meeting also addressed ways to support exploration and production operations and to improve the operational efficiency of existing fields.
Significant emphasis was placed on the importance of integrating modern technologies and digital solutions into key work domains, particularly in drilling and production activities.
During the meeting, Suleiman underscored the substantial value of the strategic partnership with Schlumberger, given its status as a world leader in providing oilfield services. He affirmed the NOC’s commitment to broadening the scope of cooperation to include aspects that serve the overall goals of sector development and the improvement of its technical and administrative performance.
