Masoud Suleiman, Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), participated on Wednesday in a crucial international dialogue held on the sidelines of ADIPEC 2025, the exhibition and conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The discussion centered on the theme: “Libya’s Energy Sector: Stability, Investment, and Regional Partnerships.”
According to a statement released by the NOC, Suleiman asserted during the session that the core pillars for strengthening the national economy and enhancing Libya’s standing as a reliable energy supplier rest upon three elements:
- Achieving sustained stability in production levels.
- Attracting long-term investments.
- Expanding infrastructure projects in both the oil and gas sectors.
The NOC Chairman also highlighted recent administrative reforms implemented to bolster transparency and cultivate trust with international partners. He pointed to the marked improvement in the security situation within Libya as a factor encouraging global companies to return and resume operations in Libyan oil fields. He concluded by affirming that recent hydrocarbon discoveries, such as the latest find by OMV in the Sirte Basin, serve as tangible evidence of international partners’ confidence in the future of Libya’s energy sector
