The General Assembly also discussed the forthcoming calendar of championships, which includes:
- The 2026 African Championship in Tunisia: Specifically covering 10-metre Rifle and Pistol events.
- The 2026 African Clay Shooting Championship in Morocco.
- The 2027 African Shooting Championship Algeria.
- The 2027 African Games in Egypt: This event will serve as a direct qualifier for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Additional Assembly Business
The Assembly’s work also involved honouring prominent sports figures and granting honorary membership to former federation presidents, notably Henri Jacob from South Africa and Mohamed Shoaib from Kenya.
