Taher Al-Baour, the acting minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Marcell Biro, the Chief Advisor to the Hungarian Prime Minister, at the ministry’s headquarters during his official visit to Libya.
The two sides explored means of enhancing bilateral relations across key sectors, including politics, economics, and trade. The discussions also encompassed a review of regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Regarding specific cooperations, the meeting addressed prospects for partnership in the energy and reconstruction fields, as well as improving visa facilitation procedures and enhancing collaboration in diplomatic training.
Al-Baour emphasised Libya’s commitment to reinforcing all avenues of cooperation to serve the shared interests of both nations and their peoples. Biro, in turn, affirmed Hungary’s willingness to support Libyan efforts toward stability and development, noting his country’s desire to expand cooperation areas for the benefit of both populations.
The meeting concluded with both parties stressing the importance of increasing reciprocal visits and continuing coordination, thereby contributing to the elevation of bilateral relations.
