The Libyan national basketball team achieved a friendly victory over the Rwanda national team as part of its training camp in Tunisia, held in preparation for the African qualifiers for the World Cup. The match, which took place on Saturday evening, concluded with a score of 81–72 in Libya’s favour.
This preparatory fixture is part of an intensive programme designed by the technical staff, which includes several trial matches and focused training sessions. The team, under the supervision of American coach Sam Vincent, aims to test various tactical plans and provide playing time to as many squad members as possible. This rigorous preparation is intended to enhance the players’ physical condition and technical readiness before they enter the official competitive matches.
