Khairallah Al-Turkawi, a member of the House of Representatives, described the so-called “Structured Dialogue” as merely one element within an international stage play. He asserted that the scenes and narrative of this political drama are being drafted according to the desires and agendas of unknown international powers.
In exclusive statements to Almanassa, Al-Turkawi elaborated that the agreement on this dialogue, sponsored by the UN and Qatar, is purely a formal arrangement designed to serve the interests of these international forces. He added, however, that there are genuinely committed nations within the United Nations seeking an effective and realistic solution to the Libyan problem.
Regarding the critical reactions and widespread rejection of the accord, Al-Turkawi was dismissive, stating they lack any real-world impact. He described these responses—even when issued by responsible figures—as having no actual sovereignty or power to impose their will across Libyan territory.
