The Libyan Shooting Federation Cup competitions for the 10-metre air pistol discipline concluded today at the Shooting School range in Ghargharesh. The tournament saw the participation of thirty male and female shooters, representing several clubs including Al-Ghararat, Nujoum Gharghareesh, Al-Shuruq, Al-Balagh, and Al-Wahda Zintan.
The event began in the early morning hours with the men’s category competitions, followed by the junior boys’ and junior girls’ events, all held with notable administrative and sporting attendance.
Senior Category (Men):
First Place: Abdul-Sami Ibrahim (Al-Balagh Club).
Second Place: Mohamed Bin Dallah (Nujoum Gharghareesh Club).
Third Place: Fathi Abu Kara (Al-Wahda Zintan Club).
Junior Boys’ Category:
First Place: Azzam Al-Atri (Al-Ghararat Club).
Second Place: Malik Al-Sagheer (Al-Shuruq Club).
Third Place: Oday Dawood (Nujoum Gharghareesh Club).
Junior Girls’ Category: (Only two shooters participated, both from Nujoum Gharghareesh Club)
First Place: Arjouan Al-Ajeeli.
Second Place: Alaa Zaqta.
The competition concluded with the official awards ceremony, featuring the presentation of trophies and medals to the winners in a celebratory atmosphere. This underscored the success of the tournament and the continued focus on developing the sport of shooting and expanding its base of practitioners across Libya.
